Vladimir Petrov Bio

Vladimir Petrov was born in Russia.  He studied art at the Russian Academy of Art in Moscow.  As an artist he has been working in the naivistic style.  His work is characterized by a range of strong and mild colors, used in a unique way which produces the effect of two dimensions.

The motives of Petrov’s paintings were created under the influence of amazing Scandinavian fairytales.  The Naivistic character is represented by Petrov in the form of happy and joyful color mixes to depict fantastic worlds of endless childish imaginations.

Vladimir Petrov’s work has been quickly growing in popularity and has been sold to many private collectors throughout Europe and the United States.
